Cross your eyes

Here are the images again, only this time I photoshopped them to reverse the sides. Now you can view them using the (much easier) Crossed Eyes technique. This is something I can do even when the images are on the computer monitor. If you were unable to see the effect in the last post, chances are you can do it now. Here are detailed instructions on how. Also, click on each image to see a larger version.

I tried the top one and it worked fantastically, Mike. Thanks so much for sharing these treasures from an obvious masterpiece. I won't try to see the others though because I have finally accepted that optical pov illusions give me headaches. Which will become an ironic statement after the holidays.

i can't make these work. just hurts my eyes to try. the good news is that the "real D" 3d used for coraline won't give you a headache or make your eyes cross or hurt or any of that. the glasses are kind of annoying, but that's life.

The images work both ways, but something interesting happens to the ones that are photoshopped- the elements that should be in the foreground, are now in the background, and vice-versa.

I find that useful because if a stereoscopic image doesn't work one way, it might work the other.
