Bruce Bickford delivers fire to the mortals

At long (long) last, the gates to Prometheus' Garden are thrown open.... or rather sort of left askew. I posted some time ago that I had discovered the Store page at the as-yet (still) unfinished Brettingram.org site. At that time I felt like I had rather illicitly crept into sacred ground through some hidden back way. And now it still feels that way, because he hasn't made any official announcement at his own blog about it, nor is the new site operational aside from the Store section. Seems like a strange way to sell something if you ask me!!!! But apparently others have also stumbled into this strange paradise, because when I decided to try it out and placed an order, not only did it go through all the way to the obligatory "Thank you for your order" page, but my order # was 4! Which implies that 3 others have ordered before me.

I partook of the combo deal, Prometheus' Garden along with the new Collectors' Edition of Monster Road. I don't mind double-dipping on something as good as Monster Road, especially knowing that some of the money goes to Bickford and Ingram. These guys deserve all the support we can drum up for them!

To help support them, and to have your mind bent in bizarre and probably dangerous ways, here's the link: Hang out with Bruce in the garden

When I try to follow the link, I get a message saying that the page is password protected. Hm...

Wow, that's weird!!!! I now get the same message, no matter what page of the site I try, even just the main page. Very strange. Maybe the store really wasn't supposed to be online yet? Hmmmm......

So I see that you are making 'charitable donations' to Bruce Bickford? You are a good & generous person ;) Or maybe, you are the type who likes to live on the 'edge of life'? Paying for Dvd, then after, the website shuts down. Did you get any confirmation of Dvd purchase? I see that there is also a MonsterRoad Myspace presence .....

P.S. At SMA forum, I see that you are Avatar-less. Ahab is not pounding away, anymore ;)

From 'you know who' (working at being enigmatic)

Hey, it's the enigmatic Donald Pleasance!!!! ;)

What's up LIO! I'm not really trying to be enigmatic, but I'm definitely not posting as much as I used to. Got pretty tired of repeating basic info for people who don't bother to search or look at the handbook etc. You could spend way too big a chunk of your life basically regurgitating all that crap! I've got better things to do, so now I try to post when I have new info or something fresh to add.

And no, I never got any kind of confirmation. Guess I ought to check and see if Paypal has transferred the money. Strange that Brett Ingram still hasn't addressed the problems, especially since obviously I'm not the first to order!

Not only is Ahab missing in action, but my entire site is down!!! I think I need to update my new credit card info there, and they've undoubtedly been trying to tell me that through my completely defunct email account!!!! Man, sometimes this whole online thing is a bee-yotch!!!!
