Temporarily closed

Sorry folks, the computer problems are too much! I never know when it's going to suddenly freeze up on me - a bit hard to keep up with a blog under these conditions. One of these days I'll have everything fixed up though.I'm also finding it hard to answer email sometimes - sorry if it takes me a while to get back to anyone!

Your blog has been inspiration and has led me to many other stopmotion websites and the development of my own stopmotion computer capture preview system. I wish you a speedy recovery and hope to see you animating again soon.

Sorry to hear your computer is giving you fits, very un Mac like.

Have you added any new RAM of recent? Sometimes a bad RAM chip will really mess with you.

I hope you are back up and running soon!

This SUCKS!!! I am so disappointed not to be able to read your progress here. You are a big inspiration and with your dropping out for who knows how long, the internet feels a lonelier place for sure.

Awww.... thanks yous guys!

Rocketspaceboy, good to hear from a reader! Always glad to hear anybody got some kind of inspiration from my ramblings.

Mark - no, no upgrades at all. I think it's computer gremlins.

Shelley - double awwww! Sorry, and I know.... it feels weird to me too. In a way though, it's kind of nice to take a vacation from it all. I'll be back, better than ever, and we'll do a marathon to celebrate!

Justin..... polish food?!!? ;)

Dude, now I'm hungry for some Kielbasa and Sauerkraut washed down with lots of warm beer!!!! MMMMMMmmmmmmm - MMM!!!!!

You should take a hammer to your mac like your Ahab puppet is doing to that anvil. That might fix it. ;-)

Unibrain to the rescue?

Unibrain? Not gonna help....

Shelley Noble said...

How about the Uni with a new computer? Dual processor?

This is NOT working for me. I can't see what you're doing or make sure you are happy.

How's this, did you know that there's a new framegrabber in town that not only has on board compositing, but a toogle blink and/or onion skinning, with or with out custom grids and safe zone marks, and also the ability to layer in live capture and then lipsync puppets with it via rotoscoping. But all the slick features aren't even the biggest wow.

The BIG wow, the BIG magumbo is...

They Fugging has a STILL CAMERA PLUG IN!!! You know the magic bullet we've all been drooling for, the one where you hook the camera of you choosing up directly to your comppy via a USB port and GRAB U some FRAMES!

Write me and I'll tell you who it is....

Hey Dude

Your presence is greatly missed.

Have you tried Techtools?

http://www.micromat.com/

Whip that computer into shape and start pushing puppets and pixels again.
